THESE RULES ARE THE STANDARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO THE CONTESTS, draws AND GIVEAWAYS (EACH A “CONTEST” AND COLLECTIVELY THE “CONTESTS) ADMINISTERED by PsyMood Technologies Inc. and isempower. THE CONTESTS ARE INTENDED TO BE CONDUCTED IN Canada, excluding Quebec. AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED AND EVALUATED ACCORDING TO APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW. NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY. VOID IN WHOLE OR IN PART WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ENTRY IN THE CONTESTS CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE CONTEST RULES (THE “CONTEST RULES”).

1. Eligibility
To be eligible to enter a Contest, an individual must be over the age of 18 and a legal citizen of Canada. They must give consent to be a participant in the contest by filling out the form on the 14 mental health booth page. If applicable, have a valid Facebook, Twitter or Instagram account at the time of entry. If applicable have a valid phone number and WhatsApp account at the time of registration.
This contest is not open in Quebec.
Not open to subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies, employees’ immediate family members, etc., are ineligible to participate in the draw.

2. Sponsorship
PsyMood and isempower will be promoting the #14mentalhealthboost challenge through their social media channels and on the shared WhatsApp group.

3. Agreement to Rules & How to enter
There is no purchase necessary to enter a Contest. To enter prior to the end of an applicable Contest Period. Enter information on this page. Log in to Facebook and view (facebook.com/mypsymood & facebook.com/empowerinternationalstudents/) or follow @mypsymood on Twitter / Instagram / TikTok / Spotify / LinkedIn & follow @isempower Twitter / Instagram. The direction will be given in the post on Facebook / Twitter / Instagram / TikTok / Spotify / LinkedIn on the sponsor's reflective social media channels.
i) Visit the contest website and complete and submit the entry form
ii) For Social media bonus entries to the draw, make sure the account is an open personal account and tag/follow us.
iii) Entries must be received prior to the end of the applicable Contest Period to be eligible for entry.
Limit of one (1) entry per person per Contest Period, unless otherwise indicated. In the case of multiple entries, only the first eligible entry will be considered and the remainder will be void.
All entries, including, if applicable, any story and/or photographs submitted in connection with the Contest entry become the sole property of the Sponsors and will not be returned for any reason. Entries must be received before the indicated Contest Period entry deadline. Entries will be declared invalid if they are late, illegible, incomplete, damaged, irregular, mutilated, forged, garbled or mechanically or electronically reproduced.

4. Entry Period
Start on January 2, 2023, and ends on January 16, 2023, at midnight.

5. Prizes
The winner will be drawn on January 17th, 2023. And the winner will be announced on our social media channels and www.psymood.com/webinar by January 20, 2023.
i) PsyMood will be providing 2 unique promo codes to 2 different winners to receive a voucher of up to $100 for your mental health session at PsyMood.com. The surplus of the credit cannot be used against another future session. The winners have until January 24, 2023, to accept the prize by email or direct message. The promo codes will have to be used by February 28, 2023.

ii) isempower will be offering 1 Free Bootcamp ($359 in value) to one winner. The winners have until January 24, 2023, to accept the prize by email or direct message.

The prizes are not transferable.
All incidental costs and expenses not specifically referred to herein as part of the prize description (the “Expenses”) are the sole responsibility of the prize winner(s). All prize elements are subject to availability and substitution. The winner shall not seek reimbursement for the Expenses from the Sponsors.

Acceptance of the prize permits us to use the Winners' entry, name, and likeness for advertising, promotion, and trade without further compensation or remuneration unless prohibited by law.

6. Odds
For each day of participation, you will get one entry to the draw. The main goal of this challenge is to understand that mental health is an important part of your goals in the year.

7. Selection and Notification of the Winner
The winner will be selected by random draw under our supervision. The winner(s) will be notified by email, direct message (if applicable), and announced in the WhatsApp group.
The winner(s) has until January 24, 2023, to claim their prize. The prize may be forfeited if the winner(s) doesn’t contact PsyMood or isempower within the time limit.
PsyMood and isempower are not liable for the winner’s failure to receive notification of winning if he or she provided a wrong email address or incorrect phone number or if their email security settings caused your prize notification to go into the spam or junk folder.

8. Rights Granted by the Entrant
When the participant enters our draw, PsyMood and isempower have the rights upon submission of an entry into the contest draw. PsyMood and Isempower own the right to use the participant’s submission, voice, likeness, image, statements about the contest, etc., exclusively for publicity, news, advertising, promotional purposes, trade, and so forth, regarding this specific contest, without any further notice, review, consent, compensation or remuneration.
For the content written and shared on the WhatsApp group, the entries must not violate anyone’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. The consequences for entries that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others (disqualification of the participant) and any claims that arise as a result of the infringement. PsyMood & isempower indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Sponsor from any suit. Both organizers and entrants grant permission to use the participant’s entry, name, and likeness for advertising, promotion, and trade without further compensation or remuneration unless prohibited by law.

9. Terms & Conditions
PsyMood and isempower reserve the right to modify, suspend, cancel or terminate if non-authorized human intervention, a bug or virus, fraud, or other causes beyond your control impact or corrupt the security, fairness, proper conduct, or administration of the contest/giveaway.
PsyMood and isempower have the right to disqualify anyone who violates the terms, as well as your rights to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law in cases where a participant has caused deliberate damage or undermined the legal operation of the promotion. Each entrant releases and holds the Releasees harmless from any liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrants or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of the Contest Rules, or in any prize-related activity.

10. Limitation of Liability
Each participant’s entry into our contest constitutes their agreement to release and hold harmless the Sponsors (PsyMood and isempower) and its subsidiaries, affiliates, employees, etc., against all claims of liability, illness, injury, death, loss, etc., that occurs directly or indirectly from participation in the contest or use/misuse of the awarded prize.

Each entrant releases and holds the Releasees harmless from any liability for any injuries, loss or damage of any kind to the entrants or any other person, including personal injury, death, or property damage, resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize, participation in the Contest, any breach of the Contest Rules, or in any prize-related activity.
The Sponsors reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant found to be: (a) violating the Contest Rules; (b) tampering or attempting to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest, the Contest Website, or any related promotional website; (c) violating the terms of service, conditions of use and/or general rules or guidelines of any the Sponsor’s property or service; and/or (d) acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

If applicable, the winners must at all times behave appropriately when taking part in the prize and observe the Contest Rules and any other rules or regulations in force at any prize-related locations. The Sponsors reserve the right to remove from any prize-related locations, any winner and/or guest who breaks such rules and/or fails to behave appropriately and to disqualify such winner and/or guest.
11. Privacy Policy
By participating in the Contest, each entrant: (i) grants to the Sponsors the right to use their personal information provided when they enter the Contest and their “Personal Information” to administer the Contest, including but not limited to contacting and announcing the winners and coordinating the provision of the Contest prize; (ii) grants to the Sponsors the right to use his/her Personal Information for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Contest in any media without further compensation unless prohibited by law; and (iii) acknowledges that the Sponsors may disclose his/her Personal Information to third-party agents and service providers of the Sponsors in connection with any of the activities listed in (i) and/or (ii) above.
PsyMood will use each entrant’s Personal Information only for identified purposes and protect each entrant’s Personal Information in a manner that is consistent with the PsyMood Privacy Policy at: psymood.com/privacy-policy/

13. Social Media Platform Rules
The contest hosted by PsyMood and isempower is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, any social media platforms on which the Contest may have been promoted and/or publicized, including but not limited to Facebook / Twitter.
