A vision board is a visualization tool. This can be a physical or an e-board that has photos and words that represent your goals, aspirations, and dreams. Essentially whatever you want, you display it on your board. These dreams can be something out of reach, ridiculous, or even magical. It is a place where you let your creativity take over. You can ask yourself: How do you envision living your life?
Tips to make a Vision Board
Take your time and think about what you want to invite into your life in the next year, or the next 5 years. If you are stuck, try to put a timer on for five minutes.
Write or type a list of ideas, wishes, and aspirations. Remember there is no right or wrong, and there is no limit. You will be surprised how long 5 minutes takes.
Then view your list and choose any thoughts you want to envision.
Use Photos, pictures from magazines, or printout images from PsyMood social media posts, anything that represents a vision of your future.
Find images that speak to your heart and you feel a connection with.
Use words, like phrases, quotes, and aspirations.
For example; Stay enthusiastic, brave, and ambitious. Or even, You have everything you need to achieve your dreams and you will need to start telling yourself that daily.
Focus on how much you want your vision to become a reality.
Still, feeling stuck?
